We are incredibly proud to announce that the Co-Director of Leicester Diabetes Centre (LDC), Professor Melanie Davies CBE, has been chosen to receive a 2025 National Scientific and Health Care Achievement Award from the American Diabetes Association (ADA).

Paula Johnston, a Diabetes Specialist Nurse, and graduate of the University of Leicester’s Diabetes MSc by Distance Learning course, has been presented with the prestigious British Journal of Nursing’s Diabetes Nurse of the Year Award. 

Fiona Munday, Education and Research Associate, EDEN, has picked up the Quality in Care (QiC) Outstanding Educator in Diabetes Award 2022.

The Effective Diabetes Education Now (EDEN) team has been named the winner of a major prize at an annual award ceremony.
