The Leicester Diabetes Centre is pleased to announce the release of its newly updated Insulin Education Toolkit, designed to support healthcare professionals in delivering safe and effective insulin therapy.

The University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust (UHL) Inpatient Diabetes Training team, in partnership with the Leicester Diabetes Centre’s EDEN team, has launched an enhanced version of the ITS Insulin Safety for Hospital Staff e-learning module (ITS2.0). This free resource helps NHS Trusts improve insulin safety and diabetes care for hospitalised adults.

Fiona Munday, Education and Research Associate, EDEN, has picked up the Quality in Care (QiC) Outstanding Educator in Diabetes Award 2022.

LDC has created a set of resources to support those that wish to fast and for healthcare professionals to support and facilitate safe fasting during Ramadan.

The Effective Diabetes Education Now (EDEN) team has been named the winner of a major prize at an annual award ceremony.

The EDEN education team has visited Gibraltar to deliver bespoke diabetes training and updates to over 70 healthcare professionals based on the Rock. These HCPs included healthcare assistants, ambulance staff, qualified nurses, and doctors, consultants and GPs.
